Average rating 1.0 based on 1 reviewI saw a Facebook ad for winter tires. I was told they were used, but that the winter rims were going to look like new and the price included balancing and installation. Upon arrival, I was shown the tires that I was supposed to buy and the rims were full of rust and that the price quoted did not include installation. As the tire looked of good quality I asked them to spray paint the rims as I was told they would look like new. Their idea of like new was just spraying over the rust. (I should have left and not bought them at this point). I drove home and the car had a lot of vibration so I contacted them and said that the tires weren’t balanced and that I would be there at 9 am Saturday morning to have the tires balanced. I showed up at 9 and waited 15 minutes before calling and was told by the owner that there should be someone there and he would send someone. A person came and balanced the tires. This helped, but the car still had a vibration it didn’t have before. I once again contacted them to say that I would be there on Saturday morning. The owner met me and took the car for a drive to see what vibration I was talking about and acknowledged that it vibrated but he said it wasn’t a tire balance issue. 2 months later I noticed that one of the rims had a large crack around the inner hub. I contacted them again showing them pictures ( as I live 30 minutes from the shop) and they tried to make me believe it was the spray paint coming off. This is absurd as you could see straight through the crack. I am just lucky that the tire didn’t come off while I was driving. I have replaced the rim as they did not even try to fix the issue. I spent too much time wasted on them that a $60 rim from Canadian tire fixed the problem. That said stay away from them as they take no responsibility as a business should.
