I’ll never forget flying out of Des Joachins on one of Bradley’s Beaver float planes with Ron the pilot. Some of the fondest memories include: going back & forth on too still waters (so as to makes waves to bounce off from on takeoff); the skimming of treetops at water’s edge (landings and takeoffs at Lac Benwah); the strapping of our canoe to the plane’s pontoon; Ron too busy spinning some flywheel on the plane’s roof with one hand while pumping a handbrake-like lever with the other to actually hold on to the streaming wheel. Oh yeah, the fishing was great too!. Thanks for the memories Ron.
